Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning to you and welcome to our worship gathering on this Advent morning when we will unfold the concept of God’s PEACE through Jesus & Advent. We serve an undefeated Savior who triumphed over darkness, over evil, over the world and in Him we find a constant and continuous source of PEACE. He is the King of Kings, the King of PEACE,… the King of the impossible. This morning as we gather to worship, many gather to mourn. As we gather to worship, many gather to seek solace and some type of comfort in the midst of death and destruction. Those who put their hope in Jesus, will find it. Those who look to Him for the rest and the comfort brought about by a PEACE that surpasses understanding will find it. That is the promise, and He is true and true to His word. Those who truly seek PEACE will find it but only when they truly seek it, when they are willing to allow His words, His principles, His truth reign over their circumstances instead of trying to find comfort and PEACE in reason and understanding. Lean on Him!
This Wednesday – December 14th– Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, we will continue the new study on the subject of suffering lead by Caleb Simmons. Please join us in person and on Zoom for this insightful study.

2022
It is time to think of our 2022 calendar and start planning. As an additional attachment to the email with the bulletin you also received a .pdf of the 2022 calendar so you can check birthdays, anniversaries, events, etc. Please reply to that email with any needed changes or additions. I would also like your help to add to the calendar the dates we’ve lost those of our faith family at Troy so we can honor their memory and be able to provide an embrace to those left behind. Thank you in advance!
Offering
This morning you can make your offering online at https://troychurch.net/give
Or, by sending a check to Lisa Jones. Thank you.
Christmas Candlelight Service
December is upon us and with it the Advent Season and my favorite, Christmas Holiday. Based on the feedback I received so far it doesn’t seem like anyone besides the currently in-person attending members are planning on being here on Christmas Eve. Charles & Maureen will be preparing some food and we will be spending the evening after the service at the church building together listening to carols and celebrating. Please RSVP.
We bring our requests to you O Lord:
