Minister’s Corner
Good morning to you on this Mother’s Day Sunday and if you are a Mother than please accept a heartfelt Thank You for your sacrifice and investment for the next generations. We wish you a Happy Mother’s Day and pray God’s rich blessings of love and peace on you!
Thank you for choosing to be here this morning. It is to our encouragement and delight and we praise God for your presence. May our gathering this morning give you encouragement and strength as together we praise the Lord and learn from His word. We serve a God of wisdom and understanding, a God who has ordained, enabled and designed our lives with purpose. In partnership with God we are a blessing over the Eden He has appointed us. As we celebrate mothers today, we give praise to God for their hearts, for their amazing love and God given qualities by which they’ve been able and willing to sustain us, to protect us and to grow us unto the Lord. Hallelujah!
This Wednesday – May 15th – Family Time & Bible Reading Study
Please join us from 6 PM on Wednesday for what we call, our Family Time. This is a time of coming together with our own take out or home cooked dinner. We spend an hour together visiting and talking about life as we enjoy our meal.
From 7:00 PM we will continue our Bible Reading & Study time. This is a time when we circle around and read through a Book of the Bible, a chapter at a time and have a quick study and discussion, much the same as you would have in a small group setting or your own family devotionals at home.

2nd God, Guys & Guns Men’s Retreat – July 19th – 21st, 2019.
Sign-up sheet is out in the lobby. Please take a minute today and sign up so we can figure out how many guys will be coming. We have a great program being prepared for our time together that I am positive will benefit every single one of you. Please take the time to consider attending and sign up today.
Family Movie Night @ Troy – 31st of May from 7:00 PM
This month our Family Movie Night will take place on 31st and as always popcorn will be provided. This month we will watch one of the following movies: Forever My Girl, Like Arrows, The Hiding Place, Lilies of the Field, The Other Side of Heaven, The Inn of the Sixth Happiness. You have two weeks to research
These movies and tell me which one your choice is to see. Please put your choices in the suggestion box by the front doors. Most votes win – only one vote per person allowed :-)
Wednesday Dinners
This month we will have the last of the wonderful dinners the Tomes and the Parents have been loving us with. They will take a break over the summer. Their cooking night will be on May 22nd and we will have a fish fry.
Our Potluck this month will be on May 29th so please mark your calendars and plan to be here and celebrate your brother’s and sisters in Christ with birthdays and anniversaries in the month of May.
