Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

I pray you are doing well this morning as we gather to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through Him, we give honor and glory to the Father Who in Christ Jesus has created us as His workmanship, for good works set aside for us even before we were born. If you ever wonder if you are known, have no doubt. Not only does God know you, but before your birth, He designed the works you walk through this week. God has made us an intricate part of His plan to bring about salvation to this planet, restoring the order of things as it was in the creation, before the fall of humankind. Let us seek Him diligently for even though He is not far from any of us, there are many things in this world that obscure Him from our view and from our hearts. Let this worship service tune you to the master key of heaven.

May God bless you with a renewed spirit as you worship today!

This Wednesday – June 16^th –Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, from 6PM bring your takeout over to the Church Building for our Family Time. Several of our number get together and have dinner together before our 7 o’clock Bible Study.

From 7PM, in person and via Zoom, we will continue our journey through the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager.

Bi-Weekly Bible Reading Group –

Please join us for our bi-weekly Bible Reading. This week it takes place, as usual, on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM. We are about to finish the book of Deuteronomy. Due to work conflicts, I’ve missed both these sessions last week and I can tell you that the week just didn’t feel complete. I look forward to being back on the regular reading schedule.

2T4C Bible Study

There is no teen Bible study today as I am out of town, however we will have a meeting next Sunday evening. Stay tune for further details by mid-week.

Suggestion request

As we are getting closer to summer the days have lengthened considerably and I am wondering if it would be better to push our Bible Readings and Prayer to a later time. I find that lately at 7:30PM is right in the middle of the evening activities rather than at the end as it used to be when it got darker earlier. Please let me know.
