Minister’s Corner

Good morning to you on this September morning and thank you for being here. As the weather starts to cool and the changing of the seasons becomes increasingly obvious, I am always driven to think of the changing seasons of life. In His wisdom God has given us multiple ways to understand how life works. The changing of seasons is one of these. As we talk this morning about our Training Ground, (following our in depth look at The Teacher (Holy Spirit) last week), the changing of the seasons of life will take front stage. I pray that no matter in what season of life you find yourself this morning, our time together will bless you and provide to you exactly what you need for strength, for peace, for faith, for your growth and sanctification.

As we worship together this morning, remember that you may hold the answer for someone’s prayer. You may be the encouragement, the vehicle through whom God has chosen to bless someone here. Love on purpose! And may God bless your day and the week ahead with love!

This Wednesday – September 18th – Family Time & Peak of the Week

This Wednesday we will meet for our usual Family Time. Please come join us! Bring your packed dinner and enjoy it as you fellowship with brothers and sisters in faith and talk life & faith.

From 7:00 PM we will continue our study series on Prayer. I know it will enrich your life and your relationship with God. This is part of our training curriculum.

Birthdays: Lauren Birdwell (today); Mary Clary (today); Angelo & Parker DeMaggio (today); Chris Appolson (17th); Jim Warren (20th)

Christmas Cantata – September 17th; 7PM @ Fox Theater

A reminder that Christmas Cantata, presented by the International Youth Fellowship, is this coming Tuesday. Half of the Fox Theater is free admission (1st come – 1st served basis), all $10 tickets are sold out and the remaining seats are $20 each. Please let me know if you are interested in attending.

Community Celebration – Corn Roast

I want to thank all of you who helped with the set-up, take-down, planning, roasting and preparing food for the Corn Roast. It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to enjoy their time. Thank you for your dedication and service in the name of our Lord Jesus the Christ.

Town Hall – 2020 Planning

In the next two months, at a convenient date for the majority of you, I would like us to hold a Town Hall during which to do some reviews of events we’ve had this year and plan for the events of next year. Please help me by submitting a time & date that works best for you to attend. I am looking for feedback on day of the week (Weekday Evening or Saturday or Sunday), and best time. Thank you in advance!
