Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Here we are, another Lord’s Day spent apart and having to worship through Zoom. I will miss our being together physically today as I pray that God will accept our worship and will strengthen our hearts and minds and lead us closer to Him through the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for being with us today. We will continue our Colossians series and will unpack a little bit more of this phenomenal letter to a Church that needed a true spiritual North compass to navigate through the false doctrines of their day. Thousands of years later, this letter serves as a compass to us, in a society in which the name of Jesus is synonym with a lot of things but most definitely not with the Creator, the Sustainer, or the Savior of the world.

May God bless you this day!

This Wednesday – January 19th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will end the study on the subject of suffering lead by Caleb Simmons. Please join us in person and on Zoom for this insightful study. Going forward on Wednesdays we will be watching the new Bible series, the Chosen.

Birthday this week: Caleb Simmons (21st); Jan Haefner (23rd)

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through Joshua on Zoom. Although you may have your own reading plan throughout the year, I assure you this reading will not impact it or you in a negative way. Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane for our unity and these half hour readings do much in terms of counteracting the negative effects to our unity brought by this pandemic.
