Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you all! Thank you for deciding to worship with us this morning. As we get ready to go before our God, and Father to honor Him I would like to ask you a question: What is a life well lived? This will be the theme of today’s sermon and I hope that it will enrich your life, your outlook upon life and help you in whatever moment you may be finding yourself in.

I am grateful for every single one of you and for your dedication to life a good life that honors and celebrates God. May He fill you with peace, love and may His Spirit always abide in you gifting you with all the best gifts & blessings from above. Let us worship!

This Wednesday – January 27^th –Family Time & Bible Study

Those of you who would like, you are welcome to join us on Wednesday evening from 6PM with your take-out or home cooked dinner at the church building for an hour of family time.

After the dinner, Charles will guide us through the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager which will be also video conferenced via Zoom.

Bi-Weekly Bible Reading Group

Please join us for our bi-weekly Bible Reading. It takes place on Tuesday and Friday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM and we are currently reading through the book of Exodus.

Offering

Don’t forget, for your convenience and safety you can still make your offering on line at http://ww.troychurch.net/give

We will not pass an offering tray/plate around. If you want to make your offering via cash or check please place it in the offering tray/plate as you exit the auditorium. Thank you.

Prayer Group – Zoom ONLY – 7:30PM – 800PM – Starting February 6th

Our Prayer Group will start February 6^th and it will be between 7:30PM and 8PM. It will take place every Saturday.  Thank you in advance for attending, please mark it on your calendars and bring your requests. The Zoom link will be the same one we use for Bible Reading, Wednesday Class and Sunday Church.

Bible Studies – Zoom

I anticipate the current status quo to last through this year and as such I am thinking of alternatives for Adult Bible Classes. I will be using Right Now Media in combination with Zoom as a platform for the new studies. At this moment I am considering a Men’s Bible Study (the Book of Jonah) as well as a Youth (the Book of James) and an Adult Bible Study (the Book of Colossians). Each of these studies will last two months, so February – March.
