Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

As always at the beginning of a new month, allow me to wish you the traditional Greek greeting, Kαλό μήνα, Kalo mina (A Good Month!) and may our good God, and Father, bless you with precious memories, peace and a greater understanding of grace.

We continue today our journey in the knowledge of Jesus by going back to the very beginning. I hope that today’s lesson will give you a greater appreciation of Jesus and ultimately of the sacrifice He made for us. In John 1:1, John says that “In the beginning was the Word,…”and later, in verse 14 “the Word became flesh,” and we obviously know the Word as Jesus,… but Who indeed is He?

This Wednesday – May 5^th –Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, from 6PM bring your takeout over to the Church Building for our Family Time. Several of our number get together and have dinner together before our 7 o’clock Bible Study.

From 7PM, in person and via Zoom, Charles will guide us through the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager.

Bi-Weekly Bible Reading Group –

Please join us for our bi-weekly Bible Reading. This week it takes place, as usual, on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM. This week we will finish the book of Numbers.

Gene Cowie & Mary Alice

Please continue to pray for Gene and Mary Alice. Mary Alice is improving slowly, however Gene is not doing so well. He barely eats anything so he is extremely week.. Thank you.
