Minister’s Corner

Good morning and welcome to our first gathering of November. «Καλό μήνα» (Kalo Mina – A Good Month) to you. This is indeed the month our society chose to prepare and focus on being grateful. As we look forward to the Thanksgiving Holiday, I pray that you will be able to find and recognize in your life all the many reasons for which we are to be grateful to our loving and faithful God.

As we have finished our discipleship series and are embarking on another journey, a journey of seeking Jesus a new, I imagine us as the Magi, looking intently in the sky to a star announcing the birth of a true King. Together with the season of Thanksgiving the Advent Season is upon us as well and as a church we need to take advantage of this time of deep mystery and deep reflection. Let us seek Him anew, with minds and hearts free of preconceived ideas and already cemented traditions and beliefs. Let us seek Him in the way of Truth and in the counsel of our Teacher, the Holy Spirit. Let us commit ourselves to the pursuit as we gather together this morning to give glory and honor to a most amazing God!

This Wednesday – November 6th – Family Time & Peak of the Week

This Wednesday we will meet at 6:00 PM for our Family Time. You are invited to bring your dinner brown bag/take out and enjoy it alongside other brothers and sisters as we chat about life and faith.

Thank you to all of you who participated in our Town Hall. Thank you for your hearts, your willingness to serve our Lord and His body in this congregation. We will meet again at the end of this month. Until then, prayerfully, please seek the Lord’s favor and His answer to our WHY? Question.

Men’s Breakfast – November 17th from 8:30 AM

This month, the Men’s Breakfast is on November 17th and I am calling all men to make the effort and come together as brothers that we may pray and encourage one another to God’s calling in our lives.

Christmas Eve Worship – only 8 weeks away

Christmas is only about 8 weeks away and if this time passes as the rest of this year… Christmas will be here before we have a chance to take a deep breath. I am looking for help in organizing the Christmas Eve service.
