Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Christ is Risen Indeed! Death could not have a hold of Him and the Bible tells us that “After being made alive, He went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.” (1 Peter 3:19-20) What an unbelievable and amazing event, what a joy to know that we have a Creator Who emptied Himself to defeat death on our behalf. Although the Bible doesn’t tell us what proclamation Jesus made to those spirits it is the same word used when the Gospel is being preached by the Apostles and by Jesus Himself in the synagogues. That’s what we celebrate today, we celebrate the freedom proclamation through the resurrection of our Lord. May this day encourage you to make Him and keep Him as the top priority and endeavor of your life to the glory of our God and Father!

This Wednesday – April 20^th – Family Time & The Chosen Series

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will be watching the series Chosen about the life of Christ. We will watch Episode 4 of season 3.

Thank you for joining us for our Bible reading time and thank you to all the readers this past week. This week we will read on Monday – Acts 10-12. & on Thursday we will read Acts 13-15.

Easter Sunday Worship

Today we will celebrate Easter with one service from 11:00AM and with the Communion being incorporated in the Sermon time of our worship service. Although we celebrate our Lord’s death and resurrection today we will focus the entire service around this event as we celebrate the most important event in human history.
