Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Thank you for being with us this morning as we worship our good God and Father and as we obey the Lord’s instruction as given through His Apostles, that in every congregation Elders (Shepherds) be appointed to watch over the flock carrying for each member with God’s Love in Christ Jesus. The Church has been doing this for over two thousand years and today, Troy Church, will continue this important tradition as we pray that God will bless us and our ministry as we try to give Him glory through all the things we do. Thank you again for being part of this process and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide your hearts in the selection you have made.

This Wednesday – September 28^th – Family Time & Philippians Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will continue the Bible Study on the book of Philippians with Caleb Simmons which will also be available to those interested in participating on Zoom.

Zoom Bible Reading – Tuesday & Friday - 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through the New Testament. This week we will read on Tuesday 2 Peter 1-3 and on Friday we will read 1 John 1-3, if you want to catch up to where we are.

Games Night, Question in the Box, Prayer Night, Singing Night

Last Wednesday as we were talking around dinner, Charles mentioned of how in the past we used to have a different themed night every Wednesday and that kind of brought some good nostalgia back. I would like to know who is willing to bring back our themed Wednesdays.

Elders Appointment – Today

Today, at the beginning of our service we will formerly appoint and commit to the ministry of Shepherds, Frank Birdwell and Patrick Oja as we pray that they may lead our congregation into the fulfillment of God’s will in us.
