Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Here we are, the last worship Sunday of February. March is sneaking up on us with the hope of Spring and longer days. The promise of the sun shining more often, the nature shaking off the slumber of winter to emerge to the life our Creator programmed into its code. I pray that as nature once again comes to life, even as our world is wrapped in turmoil, our hope becomes deeper, our faith in the sovereign God stronger and our resolve unshakable.

Thank you for being with us to worship on this day. We are still journeying through the richness of the letter to the Colossian church, and I hope that God’s Word will feed us all today to fullness. I am talking about the fullness of Christ because that is the only way we will indeed be filled. May God bless your presence in our midst, and He may answer the longings of your heart!

This Wednesday – March 2^nd – Family Time & The Chosen Series

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal. Since the second hour we will be watching a movie, we will open our Zoom from 6PM, shut it off at 7PM during the movie.

From 7PM, we will be watching the series Chosen about the life of Christ. We will watch Episode 6 of season 1.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday 7:15PM-7:45PM

Metro Detroit Youth Chorus at Troy – March 6^th NEXT SUNDAY

 Next Sundays we will be hosting the Chorus here at Troy Church. Lisa has graciously accepted to help me feed these young singers and their families. If you’ve already contacted her for help, thank you. If not and you are still able to help, there is still time to do so. We will have a baked potato bar; salad, and for dessert have an ice cream bar. Donations are welcomed, please specify on your check that it is for MDYC lunch. Please contact me or Lisa directly.
