Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this last worship day of January. This is good news! Winter is passing! Even so, it is impossible to not stop and wonder at the work of God’s hand, at all the things He created. It is beyond our ability to imagine how it is all possible, but the Bible tells us that God is so involved in His creation that not even a sparrow falls to the ground outside of the Father’s care. God’s knowledge and involvement in His creation goes to the indescribable depth of even knowing the very number of the hair strands on our head!!! Would you take this much interest in something you did not utterly love? Let us take comfort in this, that God knows us, HE KNOWS US & LOVES US STILL! Hallelujah!

This Wednesday – February 3^rd –Family Time & Bible Study

Those of you who would like, you are welcome to join us on Wednesday evening from 6PM with your take-out or home cooked dinner at the church building for an hour of family time.

After the dinner, Charles will guide us through the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager which will be also video conferenced via Zoom.

Bi-Weekly Bible Reading Group

Please join us for our bi-weekly Bible Reading. It takes place on Tuesday and Friday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM and we are currently reading through the book of Exodus.

Offering

Don’t forget, for your convenience and safety you can still make your offering on line at http://ww.troychurch.net/give

We will not pass an offering tray/plate around. If you want to make your offering via cash or check please place it in the offering tray/plate as you exit the auditorium. Thank you.

Prayer Group – Zoom ONLY – 7:30PM – 800PM – Starting this Saturday

Our Prayer Group will start this Saturday evening and it will be between 7:30PM and 8PM. It will take place every Saturday.  Thank you in advance for attending, please mark it on your calendars and bring your requests. The Zoom link will be the same one we use for Bible Reading, Wednesday Class and Sunday Church.

Bible Studies – Zoom

I am going to start the series of Bible studies with the Youth (the Book of James) and it will last two months, so February – March. I have chosen to do it on Thursday evenings from 7:00PM to 8:00PM starting next week.
