Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning and Kαλό μήνα - Kalo Mina ( A Good Month) to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ!
In spite of the uncertainty in our country and the world today I hope that as you welcome this day you rest in the certainty of God’s promises and in His constant love for you. The world has had so far, a long and at times tumultuous history. Tragedies, crisis, wars, strife, and destruction have been the human destiny as planned by our enemy, but salvation, redemption and life has been the eternal plan of God for His creation, His workmanship in us. History has not changed God’s Word. God’s Word has changed history and will do so again in spite of the ignorance of our contemporaries. The TRUTH always triumphs, always overcomes, always frees from the dark dominion of lies that enslave. Listen! Learn to Listen! God speaks, God leads, God is at work this very day redeeming His creation. Know the TRUTH!
This Wednesday – October 7th – Family Time & Bible Study
This Wednesday I invite those of you who are willing to come join us at the building from 6:00 PM for our Family Time dinner. Bring your takeout or brown bag at the building and have it together with us.
From 7:00 PM we will start our study of the Book of Genesis facilitated by Charles.

Bible Reading
We have finished the Book of Isaiah. I pondered starting to read either Jeremiah or Genesis. I thought that two prophetic books in a row might be a bit much to digest and understand without a historical frame of reference. So, I would like to start a new project. I would like us to start reading the Bible together and go as far as we can (hopefully all the way through) but reading it in a historically chronological way. I have the NIV Chronological Study Bible which is remarkably interesting and has some good teaching material in it as well. I would like us to read it together. If you are in, we will start on October 6th.

We hope and pray that everyone is doing well today and staying safe.
This year we have been impacted greatly by COVID and are in need of your help. We are in need of folks to come out to camp and help us do some fall maintenance and keep things looking great. Several small projects are: Trim Trails; Trim up dead branches on pine trees for new activity areas; Split wood; Rake or blow leaves as they begin to fall; Create pad sites for picnic tables
October 3, 4, 10, 11, 31 are days we are setting aside to complete the work. Also, weekdays are available should that be more convenient.
November 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15. Again, weekdays are good as well.
