Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and Kαλό μήνα (Kalo Mina) A Good Month to you as we begin this “middle of the calendar” month. We are just about halfway through 2021 and I am happy to say that it already blew 2020 out of the water. Thank you for being patient with us through the different trials as we tried new technologies and new things to keep the congregation together and attuned to the Word of God. We are excited to see more of you return to the in-person gatherings, however whether in person or on Zoom we are delighted and give God praise for your presence and participation in our assemblies as we strive to praise God and give Him glory while encouraging the Church and spurring one another to good deeds.

May God bless your presence in our midst today with greater understanding, deeper peace and stronger faith. Amen!

This Wednesday – June 9^th –Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, from 6PM bring your takeout over to the Church Building for our Family Time. Several of our number get together and have dinner together before our 7 o’clock Bible Study.

From 7PM, in person and via Zoom, Charles will guide us through the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager. I hope to see you in person or online.

Bi-Weekly Bible Reading Group –

Please join us for our bi-weekly Bible Reading. This week it takes place, as usual, on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM. We are currently reading the book of Deuteronomy.

Summer is here and it is time for running & jumping & active play for our kids! The children and teens of the congregation have created and agreed to the following rules to maintain a safe and respectful space for all within the building. Please feel free to review with and remind our children of these rules if the need arises:

1. No climbing or walking on furniture (including in bathrooms)

2. Clean up a space before you leave it

3. Play with balls outside only

4. No running near groups of people

5. No children in the nursery without an adult

6. If something gets broken, report it to an adult

7. No playing or gathering in Bathrooms.
