Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and Kαλό μήνα / Kalo Mina (A Good Month) to you! It seems like only a week or two ago that I was wishing you a good month for the month of February and here we are in March. Spring is in the air and as nature is coming back to life we are seeking after God, preparing our hearts for Easter. We are in the season of lent and I am not sure if you’ve already given up on some things but if you have not, this is a great time to start. Seeking after Jesus doesn’t mean just reading, and praying but together with other things, it also means emptying yourself to receive Jesus. One way in which you can do that is through fasting or, giving up something for a season to better tune in to God. I pray this season will be a blessing to you!

This Wednesday – March 10^th –Family Time & Bible Study

Those of you who would like, you are welcome to join us on Wednesday evening from 6PM with your take-out or home cooked dinner at the church building for an hour of family time.

After the dinner, Charles will guide us through the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager which will be also video conferenced via Zoom.

Bi-Weekly Bible Reading Group

Please join us for our bi-weekly Bible Reading. It takes place on Tuesday and Friday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM and we are currently reading through the book of Leviticus.

Offering

Don’t forget, for your convenience and safety you can still make your offering on line at http://ww.troychurch.net/give

We will not pass an offering tray/plate around. If you want to make your offering via cash or check please place it in the offering tray/plate as you exit the auditorium. Thank you.

Prayer Group – Zoom ONLY – Saturdays from 7:30PM to 8:00PM

I would like to encourage you to join us for a time of prayer as we prepare for our worship service. You do not have to pray if you don’t want. Your presence will be an encouragement in itself. The Zoom link is the same one we use for Bible Reading, Wednesday Class and Sunday Church.

Teen’s Bible Group – time and date change

There is a time and date change for the teen’s Bible study. Instead of Thursday evenings we will be meeting on Sunday evenings from 4:30PM and we will be studying in person. Location TBD will change weekly.
