Minister’s Corner

Good morning to you on this 2^nd Sunday of Lent. Thank you for joining us for our worship gathering this morning. I pray that the beginning of this week finds you closer to God than at the beginning of last week. We’ve been talking about the different names of God as He invites us to experience Him in the dimension of those characteristics. So far, we’ve look at God as our Abba – Father and as our Provider and I pray that you’ve been able to see clearer your relationship with Him as a Father and Provider. The Bible tells us that every good and perfect thing comes from our Abba, from our Father and as such, being able to recognize that in our daily lives brings a continuous perspective of overflowing abundance. What are you grateful for today? What are you thanking God for?

Today we will look at another dimension of our relationship with God, where He is our Protector. The One Who sees us, Who knows our circumstances and never leaves us alone. May our time together this morning bless you with strength, increased faith and an even better week ahead because you’ve been here this morning.

This Wednesday – March 20^th – Family Time & Scripture Reading

Please join us from 6PM on Wednesday for our Family Time Dinner. Bring your take-out food and enjoy an hour in the company of your brothers and sisters in faith as we eat and talk life & faith.

From 7:00 PM, we will spend an hour together in the Public Reading of the Scripture. Last time was very interesting, and a good discussion came out of it. I look forward to our time of reading together.

Sign-up sheet is out in the lobby. Please take a minute today and sign up so we can figure out how many guys will be coming.

Spring Giveaway – April 13^th

Our Spring Giveaway this year will take place on April 13^th. Please coordinate with Shana & bring in your stuff. Also, please keep an eye out and an ear to the ground and let us know of people you know who could benefit from receiving from the Giveaway Donations.

Family Movie Night – March 22^nd from 7:00 PM

This coming Friday we will have the Family Movie night. We will show the second of the God’s Not Dead movies. We will serve popcorn, you are welcome to bring your beverage of choice. Please come before 7 PM as we want to start the movie exactly at 7 so we can accommodate everyone being able to go home at a decent time. Those who can drive those who are not able to drive at night please contact them and check if they want to see the movie with us. Thank you in advance!

POTLUCK – March 27^th

This month’s Potluck, Birthdays and Anniversaries will take place on Wednesday, March 27^th. Please make plans to attend and bring a dish to share.

Please let me know who is willing to sponsor & bring the Gluten Free cake. I will sponsor & bring the regular cake.
