To God be the Glory, great things He had done, SO LOVED He the world THAT He gave US His SON!!! Allow me to welcome you to today’s gathering of the Troy Church to encourage one another and to praise and worship our God and Father. As we continue to unfold the meanings of the Fruit of the Spirit, today we will talk about PEACE. I pray that this day Peace will rule in your hearts and minds and that having come here you have found the experience of a peace you have been longing for.
The fast pace of the world, the continuous demand for our time and attention, the always rising level of expectations from not only the world but our friends and even families are all factors that contribute to an increase in the need for anti-depressants and other artificial coping mechanism. In His Spirit God offers us a peace that reigns over all the negativity found in the world and that births in our hearts a peace that truly surpasses understanding. May you experience it today!
This Wednesday – March 22nd – Devotional Service – 7:00PM
This Wednesday, as it is our Potluck Wednesday, we will be having a Devotional Worship service. Please stay and worship with us. Let me know if there is something you would like to share; story, songs, scripture, etc. Otherwise the theme will be in line with the period of Lent that we are going through.
Church Potluck - 6:00PM-7:00PM: I look forward to see you all Wednesday for our Potluck and Birthdays celebration. Hopefully no more flooding so we can all celebrate This one time we will celebrate all of you born this year up to end of March..
Homeless Care – April 1st – 11:00AM
We had a very successful Homeless Care ministry yesterday and this time all the bags were distributed to different people who were homeless and hanging around downtown or at the exits of I75. We prayed for God to lead us to those who needed it and He was faithful. Thank you for your support.
Potluck – March 22nd this Wednesday
Don’t forget that our Church Potluck is this Wednesday. Please make plans to attend. I have to apologize to all of you born or married in January, February as we were supposed to celebrate you last Potluck day and yet with the flood in the building I was otherwise distracted. I would like to make it up to you this month. Come, bring a dish to share and please invite a friend.
Luke & Leah – Sunday, March 26th
There will be a church gathering to honor Luke and Leah and thank them for their time with the Troy church. This will take place on Sunday, March 26th (their last Sunday with us). There will be a potluck dinner following the morning worship service. Chicken and ham will be provided. Contact Diane Flatt or Nancy Schroeder for more details. All in the church family are encouraged to attend.
Plan to Attend Rochester College’s Partnership Dinner
Please join Rochester College for the 46th Partnership Dinner featuring Colonel Oliver North. Partnership Dinner will be held at the Royal Park Hotel on Saturday, April 22nd. Oliver L. North is a combat decorated Marine, #1 NYT best-selling author small business founder inventor with multiple U.S. patents, columnist, and the host of War Stories on the Fox News Channel.
