Minister’s Welcome

A warm welcome and a happy Lord’s Day to you from the leadership of the Troy Congregation and from God, The Father who we worship by the grace given to us through Jesus Christ, our Savior and in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit with whom we have been sealed as a priesthood for God.

That’s a mouthful isn’t it? But… that is the TRUTH! You see, we often times forget how serious this business is we call life. We get so crowded out by duties and responsibilities, by the different stress triggers in our life that the only thing we feel is overwhelmed. God however has told us never to worry! Never to fret! Never to allow anything but assurance and faith populate and lead our hearts. The right perspective for us all, as followers of Christ is that we have been anointed by grace and called to a purpose. We have been redeemed, bought with a very expensive price and sealed through the Spirit of God, Who is not to be taken lightly. We have a purpose! We are NEVER without HOPE! So here, today, we give praise because of our HOPE and our PURPOSE! Welcome!

This Wednesday – May 23^rd - Family Time from 6PM & Bible Study from 7PM.

Please bring your take out or home cooked meal and have it together with the rest of us as we talk life and spend time to get to know one another better.

From 7:00PM we will continue our study of James with Francis Chan. Please read & pray over James 5:7-12 in preparation.

Anniversary this week: Kyle & Pamela McCauley (25^th)

Kitchen Floor Work Group -  Postponed to, June 9^th – from 9:30

Dan Ghica, the tile installer is dealing with a longer project than expected and will not be able to install the new floor in the kitchen until the week of June 11^th to 15^th We will schedule the work day to remove the current floor and prepare the floor for Dan to lay tile on June 9^th from 9:30. I have made a sign-up sheet which is on the table by the entrance. Please sign up if you can come and help.

Inter-Church Communication

Several of you have indicated that communication is still lacking and that some things are not announced/communicated properly. Although we’ve been trying to announce in the bulletin, from the pulpit or before services as well as via website calendar seems like someone always gets missed. Please bear with us as we try to figure out ways to improve.
