Minister’s Corner
Christ is Risen!
Good morning and welcome to our Easter Sunday Worship service. Today is probably one of the most significant Christian holidays, rivaled perhaps only by Christmas alone, which is another Christ centered celebration. Unlike Christmas, this is a bitter sweet celebration for us. It is a day in which we come together fully aware of our sin, of the ways in which we’ve disappointed God and yet we come together filled with joy and hope for we celebrate a complete victory, the victory of Jesus over death, over our condemnation. I pray that as you come here today you will focus on this victory won for you. Jesus invites us to REMEMBER! To REMEMBER HIM! And what is there to remember? This, of course, will be the subject of our sermon today as we gather around the Lord’s Table.
May God bless you richly in Jesus Christ and in His triumphant victory over sin and death and may His sacrifice and resurrection be reflected into every day you live. May those seeing you witness the transforming power of the cross!

This Wednesday – April 24th – POTLUCK & Peak of the Week Worship
Please join us from 6 PM on Wednesday for our monthly birthdays and anniversaries celebration. Com together and bring a dish to share as we gather to celebrate our brothers and sisters with birthdays and anniversaries in April. I am looking for a volunteer to bring the Gluten Free cake. Thank you!

Area Wide Church Singing Night
There is an Area-Wide Church Singing Night planned for Saturday, April 27th beginning at 7:00pm at the Parkview Church of Christ (3333 E 13 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48092). All are welcome to join us as we blend our voices in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Please let your congregation know about this even by including a notice in your bulletin and making public announcements.
Easter Egg Hunt – Today from 11:30 AM

Appreciation Dinner – April 28th
Next Sunday, April 28th after our morning service, we will have a potluck dinner and a time to honor, thank and wish Fred, Barb and Kay, well in this new phase of their lives. Anyone wishing to help in the planning or needs additional information contact Nancy Schroeder or Lisa Jones. Please include this event in your schedule and join us in showing love and appreciation for these dear friends who will be greatly missed.
Family Movie Night – this Friday, April 26th from 7:00 PM
Join us Friday evening for our monthly Family Movie Night. We will watch God’s Not Dead 3. Popcorn will be provided. Please come a little before 7:00 PM as we want to start the movie exactly at 7PM.
