Minister’s Welcome

Good morning! As you arrived at the building today, you may have been surprised to enter a place much different than you left last Sunday. Welcome to the One Way Café! A place in which during this past week many of your brothers and sisters have worked hard to let our own kids, blended with neighborhood children, know that Jesus is GOOD and not just GOOD, but SUFFICIENT. That in Him we have redemption and receive an inheritance which will not perish or fade, which cannot be stolen or shortchanged. That which we cannot do, He has done, you only have to taste and see. Take time this morning, look around, read the different boards and signs with verses. I pray that they will renew and refresh you, as they did those of us who spent every day of this past week at the One Way Café!

If you’ve stepped for the first time in our building this morning, we are excited to welcome you and are grateful you have chosen to be with us this morning. We hope you will find the answers you seek and feel the love of Jesus in every one of us as we worship and praise God for His amazing Grace. Let His Spirit encourage you this morning!

This Wednesday – What IF?

Invite your friends! This week we start a 5 weeks video series called WHAT IF? If is a powerful little word. Some people are stuck in "if only," trudging through lives marked with regret. But God wants us to live lives marked with possibilities, with the "what if" attitude that looks forward to the future with confidence. Why? Because the answer to "If God is for us, who can be against us?" is "No one." God is always on our side. Every day, in every way.

With his trademark enthusiasm and contagious joy, Mark Batterson helps us overcome feelings of guilt, fear, and doubt because in Christ there is no condemnation. Unpacking the promises of Romans 8, he shows us that we are more than conquerors—right now and forever. And because of that, the possibilities for our lives are limitless.

Before that we will enjoy dinner together from 6:00PM and the cooking Team for this week is Team 5 – Frank & Fran, Lauren, Gene & Mary Alice and Shirley & Foy.

VBS

Thank you Luke & Leah for your tireless work in organizing a wonderful VBS this year and Thank You to every single one of you who have volunteered and sacrificed your evenings to be here this past week and share Jesus through your service. It was hard work and it was fun and seeing your ministers pied in the face at the end was the cherry on top. Thank you again, I know you’ve put a smile on Jesus face and joy in His heart.

Baby Shower – DeMaggio Babies – Next Sunday

The congregational baby shower for the DeMaggio family will take place on August 28^th right after the morning services. They are registered at: Target, Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us
