Minister’s Corner

Good morning to you on this 3^rd Sunday of Lent. Welcome to our worship gathering. God has blessed us with a great day to meet and encourage one another to faith and good works. We’ve been talking about the different names of God and have explored God as Abba – Father, as Provider, as Protector and today we will explore Him as Creator. God is inviting you and I to explore this dimension of our relationship as beings created by the Creator, in His image and likeness. What does that mean for us? What should that mean for us? How will this truth change our today, our tomorrow, our future?...

Thank you for being here today! I pray that you will be blessed by the time you spend in our midst, and I pray that God will answer the requests of your heart. Worship starts with loving the person next to you. As we gather today let’s make a commitment to be aware of those around us, to love and encourage them. To open our hearts to the Spirit’s leadership as He prompts us to talk to others, to sing, to pray, to praise God with our entire soul & mind. Peace & Love to you from God our Father!

This Wednesday – March 27^th – Family Time & Scripture Reading

Please join us from 6PM on Wednesday for our Birthdays and Anniversaries celebration. As it is a Potluck style dinner please bring a dish to share. I will provide the regular cake and Pamela McCauley the gluten free cake. Please come out and bless your brothers and sisters with your love.

From 7:00 PM, we will spend an hour worshiping together in song & prayer. Come and bring your song suggestion, a favorite Scripture or a prayer.

Spring Giveaway – April 13^th

Our Spring Giveaway this year will take place on April 13^th. Please coordinate with Shana & bring in your stuff. Also, please keep an eye out and an ear to the ground and let us know of people you know who could benefit from receiving from the Giveaway Donations.

RISING ABOVE SEMINAR

You may know a few people who are down, discouraged, depressed … one of those people might be you. What do you tell someone or say to yourself when negativity, anxiety, fear or addictive behavior controls your mind and emotions? We want to talk about it at the Rising Above seminar on April 15-17 at the Royal Oak church of Christ. Singing starts at 6:30 and the lesson at 7:00. Look for the poster on the bulletin board or go to www.royaloakcoc.org.

POTLUCK – March 27th – This Wednesday

This month’s Potluck, Birthdays and Anniversaries will take place this coming Wednesday, March 27^th. Please make plans to attend and bring a dish to share. Please make a note in your calendar. Also, the drivers who indicated that are willing to bring our older members please contact them and inquire if they are interested in coming. Thank you!
