Minister’s Corner

Thank you for being here this morning to worship with us, to celebrate our relationship with God and the victory we have in Jesus. No matter from what kind of week you come off of, whether you come off of a week of relaxing and pleasant vacation, or you come off of a stressful and aggravating week, or perhaps off of one of those weeks that is just purely “blah”…, as you stepped into this building this morning my invitation is to focus your joy, your frustration, your anger or disappointment to the One Who can make it all right. He can balance your joy and turn your sorrow into laughter. He is the One Who can teach you how to overcome the world. There is no better teacher, no better friend and no better advocate than our Savior Jesus Christ. He promised to be always near, available, desiring of a relationship with you even when you don’t desire a relationship with Him, or are not focused on a relationship with Him. He is ready. Right now! Ready…

This Wednesday – August 28^th – Family Time & Peak of the Week

This Wednesday we will meet for our usual Family Time. Please come join us! Bring your packed dinner and enjoy it as you fellowship with brothers and sisters in faith and talk life & faith.

From 7:00 PM we will continue our study series on Prayer. I know it will enrich your life and your relationship with God so make sure to come.

Baseball Game Outing – August 29^th @ 7:00 PM

I would like to thank all who came out Friday evening to support the Hoppers & the Unicorns. We have, as honored guests, some of the players here with us this morning. Please welcome them among us.

On the 29^th, this coming Thursday, Leslie & I, together with the kids are going back out to support them in their last season game against each other. Please let me know if you wish to come.

Community Celebration – Corn Roast – 8^th September – 12:30 PM

We are only two weeks away from the Community Celebration and Corn Roast. I will need volunteers to pick up the corn in the morning, to help set up & take down the tables under the tent, to roast the corn and to help with the food. Please invite your friends and neighbors. It will be a fun day with good friends and good food.
