Minister’s Welcome
Good morning & a happy 4th of July weekend and week to you. Thank you for being here this morning. I look forward to spending this morning with you as we worship God with gratitude and as we encourage one another with love.
We are on our second Sunday speaking about the message of Paul to the church in Galatia and I am excited to share with you from the richness of this message which is truly the BEST NEWS.
I encourage you to be back this evening for the Corinthian Gathering and for volleyball (weather permitting). Until then, let us all unite our voices and thoughts as we sing and make a joyful melody to the Lord for He is good and His mercies endure forever. It is by grace alone that we are saved through faith and for that there is so much to be grateful for.
This Wednesday – July 5th – Prayer Hour – 7:00PM
Thank you to all who were present last Wednesday. It was a good time and as it seemed, out talks gravitated around the theme of God’s Timing in our lives. This Wednesday, after our Family Time, we will spend an hour in prayer together in a practice we see as common in the life of the 1st century Church. Please come.
Family Time – from 6:00PM we will have our Family Time. Please bring your take-out dinner and eat it at the building as we spend time with one another talking about anything and everything of life.
VBS
The dates for our VBS are August 7th through 11th and I hope you are making plans to be a part of it, no matter how small a part. The theme is that of pioneers trailblazing and settling the West. We are trying to gather all items that could help our decors; western country clothing, hats, wagon wheels, fake plants, fake rocks, antique pots, anything that would help us transform our auditorium into a pioneers camp.
SOS
We are a week away from hosting SOS. Royal Oak Church of Christ will be helping us to host this year’s SOS. Troy will be cooking dinners on Sunday and Wednesday and Royal Oak on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Austin of SOS is arranging the Friday dinner. If you want to help but have not yet signed up for anything please let me know.
Corinthian Gathering
This evening please remember to come back at 5PM for our Corinthian Gathering. It will be an hour of sharing, singing, praising God and encouraging one another as we walk in Christ. Come and share your struggles, success, fears, doubts and may God help us triumph over His enemy together.
