Minister’s Welcome

It is once again my privilege to welcome you to the worship gathering of the Troy Church. This was an eventful week for our body of people as we’ve said good bye to Geneva, our dear sister in Christ.

It is my prayer that as we gather this morning God will bless our time and accept our worship EVEN our singing, prayers and other elements incorporated in our time together. I say EVEN because in His word God makes it plain that worship to Him is the expression of our love for one another. Know therefore that in every hug you give this morning, you praise and worship God. In every kind and encouraging word you say to someone this morning, you praise and worship God. In every way you help and express your love to someone here, you praise and worship God. If you are a Guest, we are honored to have you in our midst and welcome you with the love of Christ, who laid His life down so that our sins may be cleansed and defeating death, He resurrected, and in His resurrection, we know we have triumph over death, the promise of eternal life. Thank you for being here today!

This Wednesday – May 3^rd – Ravi Zacharias video series – 7:00PM

This Wednesday, we will continue the series which is led by Gene Cowie. This is a series focused on some of the debates of Ravi Zecharias, filmed at Michigan State University.

Family Time - 6:00PM-7:00PM: I hope to see you this week for our Family Time, a time when we each grab our own take-out food and eat it while spending an hour together talking of life, work, hobbies, vacations and whatever else family talks around the dinner table.

Mike DeMagio prayer request

This past Thursday, Mike’s grandmother passed away and Mike is asking for prayers for his family, especially his dad. He prays that God uses every opportunity to reach the hearts of those in his family and may this be one such opportunity. Her name was Joann Burden.

Church Town Hall – May 21^st  

On May 21^st after the morning services we will have our Quarterly Town Hall. This will be different than our Annual Town Hall and it will happen in one session and will be more of a round table report and discussions on several topics of our congregational life and mission. Please make plans to attend and bring a brown bag or grab takeout from around this area. We should have 30 minutes between the end of the service and the time we begin so everyone can get some food.

We are looking for volunteers to join the Worship Committee. There will be a signup sheet in the foyer
