Philippians 3:7-14:

7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

This Wednesday – February 6^th – POTLUCK & Praise & Worship

Please come out this Wednesday and celebrate our brothers and sisters born in January as we were prevented by the weather to do so last week. Let’s show a true family spirit and love to these of our number:

From 7:00PM, we will gather in our main assembly for a few songs and prayers to thank our good God for His grace, mercy and love.

POTLUCK – this Wednesday

I have a special request for this Wednesday’s POTLUCK. I always provide the cake for our birthdays and anniversaries however, the cake I provide is not gluten free and there are several people in our congregation who cannot enjoy it. Would one of you be willing to accept the ministry of providing a GLUTEN FREE cake for our birthdays and anniversaries celebration? Please let Manu know if you are willing to. Thank you in advance!

MMA Self – Defense Class – Saturday mornings

Just a reminder that we have a self-defense class on Saturday mornings. This is a very low impact class meant to accommodate all ages and is provided at no cost to you. It aims to create a balance between practical self-defense techniques and a cardio workout.

Invite Someone Over – TODAY

As the 1^st Sunday of the month I urge you to invite someone over from the congregation. It doesn’t have to be for dinner. Get together for a coffee and some Bible reading. Get to spend some time together praying. Be the Church!!!

Prayer Hour

As we had to postpone our potluck until this Wednesday, we are pushing the prayer hour to February 13^th. If you would like prayer for a specific need or something dear to your heart, please put this request in the suggestion box in the hallway and we will be praying about it on that day.
