Minister’s Welcome

Good morning and welcome to the Troy Church of Christ Sunday Gathering. Today we will have as our Guest Speaker, Dr. Brian Stogner, Interim President of Rochester College. I’ve known Dr. Stogner for 20 years come September this year, first as my Psychology Professor at Rochester College, later as a Preaching Minister at Bristol Road Church and now as the President of my Alma Mater. However, I’ve always known him as a man who loves God, who knows and understands the stuff He’s made us of and the damage sin has done. In my eyes he is a wise and gentle soul whose introspect is always fascinating. Please welcome him as you welcome one another with the Love of Christ. Today is about God, sure, but today is about the Church as well. We’ve worshiped God all week in service and today we do it in song and in the love of brothers and sisters. Welcome Dr. Stogner and welcome Church!

This Wednesday – March 8th – Prayer Service – 7:00PM

This Wednesday is designated as our prayer service. We will gather around in the auditorium at 7PM and for an hour we will be praying about all the things that God has laid on your heart, that the devil is challenging you with. There is no particular order. You can stand, sit, kneel or prostrate yourself in front of the God. We are praying as a family.

Family Time 6:00PM-7:00PM: I look forward to see you on Wednesday for our Family Time. Please bring your take-out food and join us for an hour of life and family talk.

Children’s Fundraiser Bake Sale

Thank you all for your generosity in helping the children raise money for clean water in Zambia. Thank you Nadya for organizing it and thank you to all of you who have baked. They were delicious and I ate much more than I should have (when do I not? J) I understand that the $100 goal was surpassed at least four times. Thank you.

Homeless Care

Thank you to all who showed up yesterday to help making food bags and who contributed with food items. We had 20 bags going to the homeless downtown. Being a colder day we were able to give only about 6 bags away. We donated the rest to the Hope House for them to distribute to the children in the neighborhood. Next meeting and run is the 18th.

Town Hall Follow-Up – Questions and Answers - TODAY

After services today we will meet for a sessions of Questions and Answers as a follow up to our Town Hall Report. Please plan on joining us. Popcorn and veggie straw bags will be available.

Corinthian Gathering – 5PM Today

We will meet this evening at 5PM for our Corinthian Gathering. Please come and bring a song, a prayer, a verse, a poem or something else to share.
