Minister’s Welcome

Blessings to you in the name of Christ our Lord, from God the Father, by the Holy Spirit with Whom He sealed us in His love through grace!

It seems like yesterday that we were planning the Christmas Eve service and yet May is already here. Summer is making itself felt more and more and some of you may have even turned on your AC at home. And,…I am loving it!!! These are the good times in Michigan!!! Thank you for taking the time this morning to be here. I am encouraged by your presence and I praise God for you. I walk through the week as a man through a scorching desert looking for a spring to drink and when Sunday arrives my thirst is quenched in this assembly with you. I pray that God blesses your time here today as much as He does mine. Take time to be still throughout the service today. Let His peace heal your mind and heart. Abandon your disappointments, your frustrations at His feet in prayer and lift your face up to the sky with an attitude of thanksgiving for God is good all the time and He is always in control. I pray today’s lesson will inspire and heal your heart if you find yourself in a valley or provide the right perspective for when you will be.

This Wednesday – May 9^th

From 6:00PM this Wednesday, please come together for our Family Time. Bring your take out or home cooked meal and have it together with the rest of us as we talk life and spend time to get to know one another better.

From 7:00PM we will continue our study of James with Francis Chan. Please read & pray over James 4:13-17in preparation.

Dear church family,

We are so overwhelmed by your generosity in supporting us! We were able to raise more than $1000 from our last lunch! Thank you!!! We are especially grateful to Charles and Maureen for their awesome Italian meal and beautiful presentation! Our next lunch will be May 20, so that would be the third Sunday of May. We will have international foods including gluten free options, dessert, fruit, and veggies. With much love,

2018 Ladies Day

West Carpenter Rd Church of Christ is hosting the annual Ladies Day, Saturday,
