Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this beautiful sunny day of November. Perfect morning, a morning in such contrast with the climate of our country at this moment. It is almost like a subtle sign from our God that He is on the throne, that He is the One Who leads and at whose word the elements move. I know that this morning there are a range of feelings in our hearts as wide as the spectrum of the rainbow. Some are sad, some celebrate, come look at the future with anxiety and yet others with optimism. Because of that I am grateful for mornings like this when we can all come together and drink from God’s well, drink from the living water that refreshes one and makes him or her “a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (John 4:14)

Thank you for joining us this morning. As previously mentioned, today the Troy Church will have a Zoom only worship service. I look forward seeing you!

This Wednesday – November 11^th – Family Time & Bible Study

Wednesday I invite those of you who are willing to come join us at the building from 6:00 PM for our Family Time dinner. Bring your takeout or brown bag at the building and have it together with us.

From 7:00 PM we will continue this interesting study of the Book of Genesis following the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager as facilitated by Charles.

Bible Reading

I invite you to join us in the journey of reading the entire Bible chronologically following the Chronological NIV Study Bible. We are at chapter 21 of Genesis and we read on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7:30 PM to 8:00PM.

Small Group

With my soccer coaching season being over I was thinking again about a small group study. This would be in person as well as zoom and will be limited to an hour in length. As I am prayerfully seeking guidance, I ask that you also start praying about being a part of a small group or leading a small group. Stay tuned!

We will not pass an offering tray/plate around. If you want to make your offering via cash or check please place it in the offering tray/plate as you exit the auditorium. Thank you.
