Mix Martial Arts Self-Defense
Self-Defense, Cardio, Martial Arts!
This is a light exercise class, go at your own pace. It may be difficult for some and easy for others, and you are not expected to perform over your own strength, stamina or flexibility. You are responsible to challenge yourself.
The class will consist of:
- 10 minutes of warm-up through some low & moderate impact exercises and stretching.
- 15 minutes hand techniques (punching, blocking) executed individually
- 15 minutes of kicking techniques executed individually
- 15 minutes of executing Taekwondo forms, starting with the white belt and over time getting to some black belt forms
- 5 minutes stretching, cool-off
After some time, we will start working in pairs and introduce self-defense techniques, counter-attacks,etc. but only after the basics are well learned.
