Minister’s Corner

Good morning and welcome to today’s worship gathering of Christ’s body. I am delighted to see you here and I pray that everything taking place today will be encouraging and uplifting as much as challenging and motivating.

Today we will talk about the Gospel. Every Christian knows that the Gospel, the Good News, is crucial to understand and be able to teach. We were called by our Savior to be His Ambassadors and it is impossible to be a good ambassador unless we are aligned with the message of our Savior and King. So, what is truly the Gospel? What does the Gospel say? And what does it NOT say? There seems to be a great variation in regard to the Gospel when it comes to the Christian groups in existence today. Did the original Church of the 1^st Century understand the Gospel the same way we do?

Today we will take a look at the Biblical concept of the Gospel as we bring to a close the first phase of our series on Discipleship. I pray it will benefit you as you partner with God in His will for your life.

This Wednesday – February 20^th – Family Time & Prayer Hour

Please join us from 6PM on Wednesday for Family Time. Bring your take out or home cooked dinner and eat as you enjoy good fellowship with the rest of your Faith Family.

From 7:00 PM, we will gather in our main assembly area for an hour of prayer just as the early Christians were in the habit of doing. This is a vital part of our life as the body of Christ and I hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Wednesday evening drivers – Pressing Need!!!

We have several of our numbers who can’t drive after dark but would like to be here on Wednesday evenings. If you are willing & able to drive these to the church and back home, please let Manu know. Thank you in advance!

Family Movie Night – This Friday from 7:00 PM

This coming Friday evening, from 7:00 PM, we will watch Miracles from Heaven. (2016). Anna Beam (Kylie Rogers) lives with a rare, incurable disorder that leaves her unable to digest food.

There will be popcorn provided. Bring your own drink unless you are fine with water. Please come before 7:00 PM so we can start the movie promptly at 7PM.

2^nd God, Guys & Guns Men’s Retreat – July 19^th – 21^st, 2019

For those of you who love the outdoors, who love guns (and those who don’t hate them), this year we will have our 2^nd God, Guys & Guns retreat. We will be going to Jeremy’s cabin up North. It doesn’t have the comforts of the cabin we stayed at during our first 3G Men’s Retreat but should be just as much fun. Stay tuned for more details, but I would like you to save the date and provide and RSVP, so we know how many are interested.
