Minister’s Corner

Good morning on this last Sunday of September. I thank God for bringing you over. How do you find yourself at this end of month? Are you content? Are you anxious? If you were to lay these two on a balance, which side would dip? We are through our series of lessons on Discipleship and for the following few Sundays we will be focusing on the practical training. Last Sunday we touched a little bit on anger and how to train against anger, which we will visit more in depth again. A few Sundays back, we talked about contentment and fear, and today we will expand that lesson to a practical approach. We live in a society in which fear seems to be abundant and contentment scarce. As Christians, as citizens of the kingdom, we need to live differently. We need to live according to God’s design, in which fear has no place. It is my sincere prayer that this series of lessons and the practical training we will undertake, will dramatically change our lives, and bring us into the truth of God’s kingdom, in a way that our families and communities will not be able to help but praise God’s love and grace!

This Wednesday – October 2^nd – Family Time & Peak of the Week

This Wednesday we will meet at 6:00 PM for our Family Time. You are invited to bring your dinner brown bag/take out and enjoy it alongside other brothers and sisters as we chat about life and faith.

From 7:00 PM we will continue our study series on Prayer with Dr. Bill. This week we will focus on the discipline of prayer, an appointment with God. I know it will enrich your life and your relationship with God. This is part of our training curriculum, especially when it is also a command…

I still need at least 6 volunteers. I have one volunteer so far. My thought is to choose 3 games for older kids and two games for younger kids. I need one game master for each game. In addition, I need a volunteer for the doughnuts and the cider.

Town Hall – 2020 Planning – October 27^th – 12:30 PM
