Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning, and welcome! Today, on Mother’s Day, we pause Acts, to give thanks to God for the women who have shaped our lives with love, sacrifice, wisdom, and faith. Mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, and spiritual mothers all leave a lasting imprint on the hearts of those they nurture. Their quiet acts of service, countless prayers, words of encouragement, and steadfast love often reflect the very compassion and care of God Himself.
Mother’s Day is also a reminder that the influence of a faithful life reaches far beyond what we can see. Many of us are here today because someone prayed for us, taught us, comforted us, corrected us, and pointed us toward Christ. We thank God for those blessings. At the same time, we recognize that this day can also carry sorrow for some—for those who grieve, long, or remember. May the Lord surround every heart today with His grace and peace.
This Wednesday – May 13th, 6PM Dinner & 7PM Bible Class
Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.
From 7PM we will continue the new class on humanism with Kenny Burtch.
