Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Wednesday this week, the world will sell more chocolate than at any other time in the year. US & Western Europe combine account for sales of $7 billion dollars at Valentines. As the world celebrates love with chocolate, we gather this morning to celebrate love in a different way. We gather around a simple table. We partake of bread and wine as we celebrate love, because for us love has a different name, the name of Jesus. John the Apostle tells us that God is Love and if anyone is to know God, they will not be able to help it but be loving. John, was a close friend to Jesus, a best friend of sorts, who knew Jesus in a very personal way. In Jesus, the fullness of God dwelt in human form, translated in a way John was fully capable to grasp and testify to us that God indeed is LOVE. I hope today, in the bread and the wine you will be able to distinguish the true taste of true love.
This Wednesday – February 14th – Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, We will continue the new Bible Study on Faith Foundations with David Platt – Session 7 – The Discipline of Prayer.
Birthdays this week: Karl Randall (12th); Gary Flatt (14th); Miriam Quigley (14th); Nadya Oja (16th);
Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.
Please make plans to join us this week for group Bible reading. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe. This week we are starting Jeremiah.

The greatest need in the world is the transformation of human nature. We need a new heart that will not have lust and greed and hate in it. We need a heart filled with love and peace and joy, and that is why Jesus came into the world. - Billy Graham
