Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
I am so excited for today with our potluck /corn roast / community celebration. One more thing that brings a flavor of normalcy to our fellowship. I am grateful for today, for God’s allowance of today and the blessings He is granting us. As we seek His face today and His fellowship, as we sing praises and raise prayers, as we open the word let us allow it all to penetrate in the deep recesses of our minds and hearts and clean us, and change us. It occurs to me that as we try to get closer to God and live lives that honor Him we actually learn to live in the right way, according to the manual describing our optimal condition of operation. I see people every day trying to improve their lives and sometimes working really hard at it, yet the end of their journey is disappointment and emptiness and strife. In the end, only God can complete and satisfy. Let Him in!
