Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this sunny Palm Sunday. Thank you for being with us this morning as we remember this significant event in the history of humanity. I pray that through our worship today you will be encouraged and brought closer to God than you’ve been before. Many years ago today Jesus entered Jerusalem in a very unexpected way in spite of the fact that God had given humanity a preview of it through the words of the prophet. What are your expectations of Jesus today? How do you expect Him? How do you welcome Him? Is He the King and Savior you are willing to submit to and follow or are you waiting for someone different?

My prayer is that today, and in the week to follow, we will consider yet again the significance of Jesus’ actions and the teachings given us in His actions. May they open our eyes to God’s wisdom and glory!

This Wednesday – 16^th April – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will continue our Christian Living Bible study in James led by Manu.

Giveaway – Postponed – Date TBD

Shana asked that we postpone the Giveaway for a date yet to be determined in May. Please contact Shana for any details.

Bible Break – Tuesday – 10:00AM to noon

Every Tuesday morning, a group of ladies from different congregations joins a group of our ladies for a Bible class. Currently studying Romans. Please invite any of the ladies you know.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM

Please plan to join our Bible Reading group. This session they will be reading through the New Testament. You can use the same Zoom link as you use to join the services on Sunday morning.

Easter Egg Hunt – NEXT SUNDAY – 11AM

Please help us by grabbing some of the eggs in the lobby and bringing them filled with goodies next Sunday. Thank you.
