Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Thank you for joining us today to honor and worship our Lord and our God of love. As we step into the “love week” of Valentine’s Day celebration we come with grateful hearts to God for the love He has displayed for us through His Son. Our journey through the letter to the Colossian church re-emphasizes that Jesus is enough for us. He is enough for all those things that we strive for. Jesus is the source of all that is good and beneficial for a human life, all that makes it complete. Let us praise God today for His generosity in blessing our lives and hearts with a love like no other. Let us not get distracted by the elementary teachings of this world and the chasing after pagan idols re-branded in contemporary fashion as something worth pursuing. The evidence of our world’s moral decay stands as testimony in itself that the worlds wisdom leads to destruction and not to life. Life is surely to be found only in Jesus!

This Wednesday – February 16^th – Family Time & The Chosen Series

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal. Since the second hour we will be watching a movie, we will open our Zoom from 6PM, shut it off at 7PM during the movie. I apologize to those of you who have signed on last Wednesday. We completely forgot to start the session from 6PM.

From 7PM, we will be watching the series Chosen about the life of Christ. We will watch Episode 4 of season 1.
