Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and thank you for being with us this morning as we’ve gathered to worship the Lord and show Him our gratitude. If you are new in our midst, please take a moment to read the description on the tear away flap to the right of the bulletin and please do let us know how we can pray for and minister to you.

As we enter the third week of this year, New Year resolutions are perhaps still fresh on our minds. Perhaps you are still going strong, or perhaps, you’ve already broken them. Either way, I pray that today’s service and sermon will help you on your journey to whatever fresh start you may be looking for. We serve a God who is all about second chances and my prayer is that you will never hesitate to embrace the chances He gives you for His grace and mercy are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

This Wednesday – January 17^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue the new Bible Study on Faith Foundations with David Platt – Session 3 – Disciples Make Disciples.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.

We hope that among your New Year Resolutions this year is to spend time with us reading the Bible together. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.

Ministry Opportunity

It has come to our attention that at Rochester University there are some students who really struggle financially and are not able to buy basic toiletries and school supplies. We would like to explore a ministry endeavor for these students and would like to receive some feedback. Please look for an email from Manu in the coming week.
