Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and thank you for choosing to be with us this morning as we endeavor to worship God with our hearts and minds, with our voices in songs, prayers and sharing of the word. As we partake of the communion this morning, coming together as one body, I pray that the remembrance of Jesus’ love for us will tune us all in to a greater degree to the truth we would be looking at today in 1 John 4. Today is also Father’s Day and I want to thank all our dads and wish you all a very Happy Father’s Day. There are many the things that Father’s do, without getting recognition or praise, but we know that it is because of this one special quality that represents God, and John talks about in his letter, and which we all copy and embody in our fatherhood, that makes it all possible. “8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” says John, and his words reverberate over the centuries and millennia we’ve witness through the biblical text in which again and again God shows Himself to be just that. LOVE. It comes down to this: Without God, there is no love, for God is love. God must be a part of every relationship.

This Wednesday – June 19th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.
