Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Thank you for reading our bulletin this morning and for your decision to worship with us. We come before our God, our Father, on this new worship day to pour out our gratitude through songs, and prayers and readings of Scripture. We do so because we know that although we could never earn forgiveness and salvation, our expression of worship brings us closer to God and closer to one another. We know that God doesn’t need our praise any more than the sun needs our help to shine. It is us who get the benefit of the sun’s light and warmth and us who get the benefit of our time in prayer and worship as the Spirit of God binds us together in our love for God. Let us open our hearts this morning to receive the blessings the Spirit is eager to impart to each one of us. How great is our God! Sing with me; How Great is our God!
This Wednesday – October 20th – Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, we will continue the new study on the subject of suffering lead by Caleb Simmons. Please join us in person and on Zoom for this insightful study.

Leadership nominations – T-14
A couple of weeks ago I sent out a note regarding nominations for the future leaders of the Troy Congregation. October 31st is a Sunday this year and that is the Sunday we would like for you to turn in your nominations that you have, and will be, prayerfully thinking about. I cannot believe we are about to step in October so these 14 days will pass fast. This 4th Quarter of 2021 holds a lot of decisions for us as a congregation regarding leadership and living the 2022 year in the purpose of our Lord. This is an exciting time as well as we expectantly look to the Lord for direction and blessings. Thank you in advance for your diligence and partnership in the Spirit as we seek His guidance, living in His purpose.
