Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Thank you for being a part of our worship service this morning. I pray that God will bless you by your presence in our midst and that you will come to know Him in a deeper way. We gather as the body of Christ and a relationship with Jesus means a relationship with His Body as well. The way we experience Jesus together cannot be achieved when we worship by ourselves. Communion and community with the Body of Christ is paramount in one’s journey to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us worship together with full awareness that Jesus is present in the midst of His people for He is faithful, and all His promises are true. Look around! Can you see Jesus?

This Wednesday – September 21^st – Family Time & Philippians Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will continue the Bible Study on the book of Philippians with Caleb Simmons which will also be available to those interested in participating on Zoom.

Zoom Bible Reading – Tuesday & Friday - 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through the New Testament. This week we will read on Tuesday 1 Peter 1-3 and on Friday we will read 1 Peter 4-5, if you want to catch up to where we are.

Community Celebration – THANK YOU

A sincere thank you to all who participated in this year’s Celebrate Community. Because of you it was a resounding success for everyone but Atticus apparently.

Elders Appointment – 25th September

On Sunday, 25th September, at the beginning of our worship service we will have our installment of Frank Birdwell and Patrick Oja as Elders of the Troy Church Congregation as a result of your nominations. Please join me this week in seeking God’s favor over these men & their ministries.
