Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you and welcome to the gathering of God’s children in Troy. How has your week been looking back? Whether you come to this place after a week adorned with successes or after a week plagued with failures, when we come before God to worship, we should come all the same, in humility and with an open heart to love and be loved. You see, everything we’ve come to achieve is by grace because our very breath is granted to us by grace. Every failure we have is just the evidence of the state in which we exist. We live in a fallen world, a world in which humility is seen as weakness and love as something to be taken advantage of. However, God meets us in all our successes and failures with GRACE for without grace it is impossible to even get close enough to God to live. Without grace, instant condemnation and execution would be ours, now.

This Wednesday – February 22^nd – Family Time & Game Night

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will spend an hour playing games so please bring your favorite game and engage someone to play it with you. This is a great opportunity to invite people to come along so please invite some friends to come over.

We are currently reading through 2 Kings. Please join us.

Collection for MCYC (Michigan Christian Youth Camp)

We would like to make a collection for MCYC on the first Sunday of March, which is March 5^th. If the Lord has placed it on your heart to help this ministry please set apart a donation and bring it on March 5^th. I will be sending out an email with events and needs for the camp as well. Another way you can support the camp is by becoming a camper.

Offering

This morning you can make your offering in the plate at the back of the auditorium, or you can as always have the option to make your offering online at https://troychurch.net/give
