Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning, and welcome! I am delighted you’re here as we gather to worship our gracious God together. Each Sunday gives us the gift of time—to pause from the week’s noise, to be still before the Lord, and to find renewal in His presence. I hope you recognize what a blessing it is to walk together as a family of faith, learning, growing, and encouraging one another along the way.

Today we turn to Acts 9:10–19, where God calls a man named Ananias to an unexpected task—go to Saul, the church’s fiercest persecutor, and lay hands on him so that he might regain his sight. It was an act of faith and obedience that changed the course of history. Through Ananias, we see that real power is found not in great deeds or loud voices, but in humble obedience to God’s direction. May today’s worship remind us that when we trust and obey, God works through us in ways far greater than we could ever imagine.

This Wednesday – 22^nd October – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will continue our study of 2 Peter led by Manu.

Bible Break – October 21^st – 9:45AM

The Bible Break ladies’ Bible meets every Tuesday with 9:45AM coffee & social time. Study starts at 10AM and ends at 11:30AM. This season the ladies will be focusing on the Hebrews text of the New Testament. Invite a friend!

Church of Christ Care Center – Next Date – November 2^nd

Please make sure to save November 2^nd at 2PM on your calendar for our monthly trip to the Care Center to worship with the residents there. Let’s try to make sure that at least 10 of our members will be at the Care Center.

Zoom Bible Reading – Mondays & Thursdays – 7:15pm

Please join us for a bi-weekly Bible reading over Zoom. The group meets on Monday & Thursday evenings from 7:15pm. We generally pray and read together three chapters. We are in Leviticus. Usually only lasts about 20-30 minutes.

Service Projects & Ministries

Thank you for your continued support of the Lord’s will at our little congregation. I would love to receive some input and suggestions of next service projects and activities we can be involved in or support.
