Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
A good new month to you as we step today in this last month of 2024. This is the month when most look expectantly to the new year and yet they go through the year that has passed within their minds and weigh its worth. Have we accomplished all we wanted or hoped to accomplish? HOPE, funny word that is. We all hope of things. For some hope is silent and patient expectation. For others, hope, is action, working full heartedly toward the goal they hope to achieve. As we start advent today, we light the first candle, incidentally, the candle of HOPE. How do you hope when it comes to Jesus? He is coming, someday, but until then, what? As another year passes without His return does our hope change? Or, is it deeper?
This Wednesday – December 4th – Fellowship Dinner & Mid-Week Bible Study
From 6:00PM we will get together for our fellowship dinner. This is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) type of event. It’s our family time of getting to fellowship and “take a load off.”
From 7:00PM we will have a bible study led by Manu.
Birthdays this week: Jeremy Parent (5th)
