Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning, and welcome! I am grateful to be in this gathering today as we come to worship our faithful and gracious God. This Sunday, as every Sunday, offers us the opportunity to pause, to reflect, and to be reminded that the Lord is always at work—guiding us and unfolding His purposes in ways that often stretch our understanding. May this time of worship draw our hearts closer to Him and strengthen our trust in His leading.
Today we find ourselves in Acts 11:1–17. In this passage, Peter recounts how God worked among the Gentiles, explaining that what God has done cannot be questioned or undone by human opinion. The same Spirit who fell on the apostles at the beginning was given to all who believed, showing clearly that salvation is God’s work from start to finish. May our hearts be open to the truth that God’s grace reaches farther than we expect and that His plans are always wiser than our own.
This Wednesday – February 4th, 6PM Dinner & 7PM Bible Class
Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.
From 7PM we will have a Bible Class led by Charles.
Bible Break – Tuesday, February 3rd – 10AM
The Bible Break ladies’ Bible meets every Tuesday with 9:45AM coffee & social time. Study starts at 10AM and ends at 11:30AM. This season the ladies will be focusing on the Hebrews text of the New Testament. Invite a friend!
Care Center Worship Service – TODAY – February 1st
This Sunday is our turn to serve the believers at the Care Center. With Pat and Ron out of town and Frank out of commission I will need help with all aspects of our time there. Singing, Communion, Preaching. Let me know if you are willing to help. Please plan on joining us for this ministry at 2PM.
Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15pm
Please join us for a bi-weekly Bible reading over Zoom. The group meets on Monday & Thursday evenings from 7:15pm. We generally pray and read together three chapters. Usually only lasts about 20-30 minutes.
