Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this fine first day of June. Allow me to wish you a Good Month ahead! May God bless you and prosper you through this month and may the wishes of your heart be granted!

I am excited to be back with the church after an absence that has only reaffirmed to me how much your fellowship means and how dearly I miss it when I’m out of town. Today we will continue our journey in the book of Acts as we follow the footsteps of the early church and the way they understood to live for Christ. Thank you for being here and the encouragement that your presence brings to all of us. I pray that our fellowship and worship will bring joy to your heart and that God will grant answers to the questions you seek. We are not perfect, but we are perfectly aware and eternally grateful to our God and Father who continues His work in our lives with love and patience. It is not our perfection God seeks but our hearts this morning. Let us worship Him from honest and open hearts today!

This Wednesday – 4^th May – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will begin a new study through 1 Peter led by Manu.

Shana asked that we postpone the Giveaway for a date yet to be determined in June. Please contact Shana for any details.

Summer at Troy

Summer is quickly approaching, even though some days it definitely does not feel like it, and I’ve been thinking of what activities can we have around the building as a faith family to take advantage of the beautiful grounds of the church. I welcome suggestions: bonfire night, volleyball social, church picnic, water fights, whatever… Please let me know what would motivate you to come out and spend time with us this summer.

Church of Christ Care Center – Today

Today is June 1^st, the 1^st Sunday of the month and it is again Troy Church’s turn to minister to the older folks at the Care Center. Please plan to attend and bless the residents there through your singing, prayers and encouraging words. When there is more of us there singing sounds amazing. If you’ve never been, you may find yourself thinking, “Troy Church can actually sing…” lol. Please join us!
