Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning & thank you for being a part of our worship gathering this morning. The only thing to remember this morning is that we are not gathered in front of God, able to lift up songs of praise and prayers because we deserve it, or because somehow, we’ve arrived at a level of knowledge and discipline that enables us to do so. None of what we are able to do today would be possible without Jesus. What I mean by that is that even though without Jesus we could sing the same songs, read the same Scripture and pray the same prayers, everything we would do would amount to nothing. Jesus said: “5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5), not because we would be incapable of anything but without His sacrifice it is all worthless.

This Wednesday – April 24^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue to study Jesus’ parables led by Charles.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.

Please make plans to join us this week for group Bible reading. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.

Fellowship, Lunch & Volleyball

A few of us usually bring food and stay after the worship gathering with others who like to hang around and enjoy each other’s company share the lunch potluck style and now that warmer weather is coming, we will also be playing some volleyball. Please join us with or without food. Bringing food is not a requirement, we would love to have you hang out even if you didn’t bring food to share.
