Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and thank you for being with us this morning as we gather to worship God as His faith family. How has your week been? Have you been able to slow down, to hear God’s whisper in your life? Have you been able to see, or find purpose? I am talking about kingdom purpose, of course. In what way has God touched you this week?

I pray that your time with us this morning is blessed with an acute awareness of God’s presence, with true peace upon your heart and mind as you sing and pray, as you open your heart to God. Let us come to this moment in our week, the beginning of the week, with awareness of the promises of God for those who walk faithful in His ways. Grace is new this morning and this week. Let us rise above our failures, above our weaknesses as we reach up to grab onto our everlasting Father.

This Wednesday – August 24^th – Family Time & Philippians Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will continue the Bible Study on the book of Philippians with Caleb Simmons which will also be available to those interested in participating on Zoom.

Zoom Bible Reading – Tuesday & Friday - 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through the New Testament. This week we will read on Tuesday Titus 1-3 and on Friday we will read Philemon 1, Hebrews 1-2, if you want to catch up to where we are.

Community Celebration

Even though I’ve only got a few responses back in regard to the organization of a community celebration, there have been enough responses to move forward with organizing an event. Sunday, September 11^th, after the morning services, we will get together for a potluck time of fellowship and games, a bonfire, some around the fire singing and an all-around good time as we say good-bye to summer.
