Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Allow me to welcome you here today, on behalf of the leadership of the Troy Church. We are grateful to our Savior Jesus for His gift of grace in the sacrifice of His life, which now binds us together in His spiritual body, the Church. We are part of a legacy spanning millennia, as we carry God’s Word, the Gospel, to those around us. The Bible says that “10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,” (Ephesians 3:10) so our responsibility lies not only with this physical realm but indeed our service to Christ, and our service to the world as the body of Christ, reverberate in the spiritual realm as a testimony of God’s wisdom in redeeming the lost through the very same law condemning us. Here, today, we praise God for His manifold wisdom, and I am grateful you have joined in with us.
This Wednesday – January 25th – Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, We will continue the new Bible Study on Faith Foundations with David Platt – Session 4 – To the Nations.
Birthdays this week: Caleb Simmons (21st); Jan Haefner (23rd); Fred Oja (27th)
Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.
We hope that among your New Year Resolutions this year is to spend time with us reading the Bible together. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.
Ministry Opportunity
It has come to our attention that at Rochester University there are some students who really struggle financially and are not able to buy basic toiletries and school supplies. We would like to explore a ministry endeavor for these students and would like to receive some feedback. Please respond to the email you will receive from Manu.

This morning besides the offering plate, you can as always have the option to make your contribution online at https://troychurch.net/give
If neither one of these options are suitable, please send a check to Lisa Jones. Her address is in the directory. Thank you.
