Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

It has been a couple of really hard weeks without being able to meet with each other. We are grateful to be feeling well and on the mend so we look forward to meeting again in person on Wednesday. Until then however, I am grateful for your willingness to meet and worship the Lord together on Zoom. I look forward to all the blessings our good God has in store for us this morning as we focus our hearts on Him and His word and as we open our hearts to His guidance.

Thank you for your continued support. I know I say this often and I want you to know that I mean it deeply every time. It has been an extremely challenging time for all congregations, but I think especially for a congregation like ours. We miss all of you who continue to worship from home and look forward to that day when we can worship again together in the same place. Until then, may God keep you & bless you!

This Wednesday – January 26^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will be watching the series Chosen about the life of Christ. Due to technical limitations this will be an in person only event although I encouraged those who can’t be with us to use this hour to watch the same episode of Chosen on your own phone, tablet or TV. Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through Joshua on Zoom. Although you may have your own reading plan throughout the year, I assure you this reading will not impact it or you in a negative way. Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane for our unity and these half hour readings do much in terms of counteracting the negative effects to our unity brought by this pandemic.
