Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Such a blessing to be able to come together at the end of the week, beginning of a new week and dust ourselves off of the world as we look heavenward to our Lord. What is the “dust” you are dusting off this morning? Is it disappointment? Is it selfishness? Is it heartache? This is the moment, and this is the day to clean house. As you raise your voice to sing to God, remember His faithfulness, remember His power and know that in all things He works that you may benefit. A benefit not for now, not for a while, but for an eternity as that is God’s promise and that is what God works toward tirelessly. We have His promise, we have His favor. Let us open our hearts as we worship Him this morning, and allow His healing Spirit penetrate deep, to the deepest of our wounds. Let Him cleanse our spirit and our hearts as we gather before Him today.

This Wednesday – October 26^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will continue the Bible Study with Pat Oja which will also be available to those interested in participating on Zoom.

Zoom Bible Reading – Tuesday & Friday - 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through the New Testament. This week we will read on Tuesday Revelation 15-17 and on Friday we will read Revelation 18-20.

Games Night, Question in the Box, Prayer Night, Singing Night

I received feedback from several of you and from the feedback I received you all want to go to different themed Wednesdays. The themed Wednesdays will be: Prayer/Service Night, Question in the Box Night, Worship Night and Games Night.

Prayer/Service Night: 30 min prayer followed by 30 minutes of writing cards to members: birthdays, encouragement, etc. Or writing to people in the community (evangelism)
